tks! needs to receive or collect certain information to operate, provide, improve, understand and customize our services and support them, including when you install them, access them or use the app.

The types of data we receive and collect depend on how you use our services. In order to provide our services, we ask for certain information and without it, we will not be able to offer these services to you. For example, we need you to provide your mobile phone number to create an account and use our services.

When you use our app, interaction and access information is collected by us to ensure a better experience for you.

Data provided by you:

• Your account data: You must submit your mobile phone number and your basic data (such as full name and email address) to create a tks! account. If you do not provide this data, you will not be able to create an account to use our services. Other information may be added to your account, such as a profile picture. The profile picture is not mandatory, it is used to identify you in the application and for other users to see it. The photo is also used to generate images of the compliments received and sent that can be shared by third-party applications.
• Your compliments: Our service is cloud-based. We store submitted compliments, photos and recipient data on our servers so you can access this data from any of your devices at any time without having to rely on third-party backups. All data is securely stored to ensure your protection. When you send a compliment, your contact, upon receiving it, will have access to your name, your profile picture and the content of the compliment.
• Your Contacts: We use phone numbers as unique user identifiers. When submitting a compliment, you will be asked to give permission before we can access your contacts. If you do not want to use this function, you can enter this data manually. If your contact does not yet have a tks! account, we store this data to notify you as soon as your contact registers, thus displaying the compliments received by the contact. We only need the number and name (first name and last name) for this to work and we do not store any other data about your contacts.

Automatically Collected:

• Data usage and log data. We collect data about your activity on our services, such as service, diagnostic and performance data. This collection includes data about your activity (including how you use our services, your service settings, how you interact with others using our services, and the time, frequency and duration of your activities and interactions), log files, diagnostics, fault, website, as well as performance reports and logs. The collection also includes data about when you signed up to use our services, the amount of compliments sent and their frequency. This data allows, for example, to send notifications about availability and to receive compliments and to release new features.
• Data about connections and devices. We collect specific data about connections and devices when you install, access or use our services. This collection includes information such as hardware model, operating system information, battery level, signal strength, application version, browser information, mobile network, connection information (including phone number, mobile carrier or service provider internet), language and time zone, IP address, device operations information and identifiers

Third party data:

• Data provided by third parties about you: We receive data from other users about you. For example, when other users you know use our services, they may provide your phone number and name (which is in their cell phone address book), as well as these users’ numbers may come from your contacts.
• User Reports: Just as you can report other users, other users or third parties can also report your interactions and compliments sent to them, for example, in order to report possible violations of our Terms or policies. When a report is made, we collect data from both the user who reported it and the person who was reported.
